Editey Help Center

Websites on Google Drive

Create, edit and publish HTML, CSS and JavaScript files right on Google Drive.

Google Drive Integration

Open any file with Editey right from Google Drive and start editing right away.

All changes will be synced back to Google Drive.

Install dedicated Editey apps for each file type and create new HTML, CSS or JavaScript files right from the New menu in Google Drive.

Edit Websites

You can edit multiple files at once!

Simply right-click on the folder that contains your website files and select Open with... Editey.

This will create and open a workspace to edit multiple files side by side on the same page.

If you open a website for the first time you'll have to select the files you want to edit (=select the working set). You can change the working set or add additional files at any time.

Copy examples

You can copy one of our examples at a starting point. Select the folder where you want to copy the examples to and click on Create... Public Website in your Google Drive menu.
